Etsy 12 Organic Days of Christmas for Mama & Baby | Our Little Lullaby

With today being the fifth day of our 12 Organic Days of Christmas series, allow me to introduce you to… organic cotton leggings from Our Little Lullaby!

Jeehye, owner of Our Little Lullaby, has put together an adorable line of organic baby clothing – from leggings to onesies and headbands! She began designing her organic baby clothing line for her own son and has come up with so many unique and modern designs. I’m pretty darn excited to have found these super cozy-soft, organic, and trendy leggings for your little ones!

Also, how about this cutie-patootie model?!

An interview with Jeehye, owner of Our Little Lullaby
(Salt Lake City, Utah, USA)

► Our Little Lullaby- how did you come up with this brand name and what does it symbolize?

Coming up with a name was one of the hardest things. I wanted a name that was easy to remember, but at the same time I wanted it to represent me. I finally decided on OLL (Our Little Lullaby) because it made me think of my son. Lullabies make you feel happy, peaceful, and memorable. I want my son and now daughter (she’s 2 weeks old) to remember their life as a lullaby – happy, peaceful and memorable.

► Think back to when you first began dreaming up Our Little Lullaby; what one piece of advice would you send back in a time capsule to yourself?

Remember why I started this. Don’t think about the numbers and popularity, and don’t get discouraged by others.

► What keeps you inspired? Do you have any techniques for getting out of a rut?

Seeing my customer’s pictures keeps me inspired. When I see my items on their little ones, it makes me feel like I am doing something right. I see myself comparing my shop to others, and it gets me discouraged. I need to remind myself that there are a lot of people that believe and love my products. That’s what keeps me going.

► Name a most used or favorite tool for creating your product:

My favorite tool is my electric fabric cutter. I used to cut my fabrics individually and it took forever, but I recently purchased an electric fabric cutter and it has saved me a TON of time. I always use my Brother 1034D serger. I love my serger and it’s super easy to use. I would recommend it to anyone.

► What activities keep you busy in your free time?

I like to get ready for the day on my free time. Haha.

Most of my free time is spent with my two kids. Just 2 weeks ago it was only my son, Anthony, and I, but now we have a baby girl. So spending time with my 2 babies are where most of my time goes. However, during their nap times, I do most of my work (responding to emails, shipping, and sewing). If I do however get free time, I like to catch up on my favorite TV shows (How To Get Away With Murder, Grey’s Anatomy, Bachelor/Bachelorette, etc).

► List three adjectives that describe the style of your shop:

clean – comfortable – adorable

► What eco-initiatives have you established within your business?

I use all organic cotton materials for my leggings. I decided to use all organic materials for my leggings because there are a lot of babies out there with sensitive skin, and the organic cotton material is so soft which will help with sensitive skins.

► What’s next for Our Little Lullaby?

I don’t know what’s in line OLL. My family will be moving to Houston, Texas in May so I’ll have to see what adventures are out there. It’s kind of scary but exciting at the same time.

► What TV show do you never miss a beat on?

The Bachelor/Bachelorette. It’s one of my guilty pleasures. My husband makes fun of me for it, but I don’t care! Its my time to relax.
